♡ Ballerina | Cottage Abaya ♡

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, sister and brothers! I really love my abaya, alhumdulliah..all praise to Allah swt who has allowed me to have such a nice abaya. The fabric was soft..and breathable, it’s nice to know that it’s pure cotton! <3, the abaya also has pockets and a zipper across the chest for our lovely mothers for breast feeding. I really recommend this abaya to any girl!

First I wanna start by saying that is really difficult finding pure cotton abayas, so I’m really happy this store decided to make them and as someone who prefers natural materials including cotton, I rushed to buy, not one but Two pieces right away. I was hoping my Experience will be same as with Dahlia abayas, but unfortunately even though design of Cottage abaya is beautiful, it just doesn’t flow with this type of cotton weave. It’s too heavy (due to amount of fabric used for making all the ruffles) and even though I followed sizing guidelines, it is too tight across chest area (for reference, Dahlia abaya has same sizing guidelines but is wide and generous all across)
I am not sure whether I am going to keep it or resell it but I know for sure I won’t be buying another one, unless it’s made in different fabric - maybe linen or crepe. It is unfortunate it didn’t work out for me because design and colors are really nice.

I bought a total of two, one originally for me and one as a gift for my pregnant friend. She is constantly uploading photos of herself in the dress and she's adorable looking.

Pretty baby pink abaya.. better for the cooler months though.
